Accompanied by Pangdam IX/Udayana, Panglima TNI Reviewing G20 Task Force Command Center in Bali



Badung - Various preparations have been made ahead of the G20 Summit which will be held on November 15-16 in Bali. In the security sector, TNI has planned in detail and thoroughly all aspects to ensure the G20 agenda takes place safely and comfortably for state delegates.


Considering that the TNI is the spearhead in the security sector, Panglima TNI General TNI Andika Perkasa and Ms. Hetty Andika Perkasa on Thursday (3/11/2022) carried out a review of the Task Force (Satgas) Commands Center during the G20 Summit activities.


Arriving at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Air Base using a special Indonesian Air Force aircraft, Panglima TNI and his entourage were greeted by  Irjen TNI, Pangdam IX/Udayana, Wakabais, Pangkoopsud II, Kaskogabwilhan II, Danrem 163/WSA, Danlantama V, Danlanud Ngurah Rai and Danlanal Denpasar.


As Commander of the Regional Security Task Force (Dansatgas Pamwil) at the G20 Summit, Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., accompanied Panglima TNI in carrying out a review of all G20 Summit Task Force Commands Center.


The Commands Center reviewed by Panglima TNI include the Kogabpadpam Task Force, Komlek (Communications and Electronics) Task Force, Public Relations Task Force, Medical Task Force, Special Forces Task Force, VVIP Task Force, Air Task Force, Airport Task Force and Port Task Force.


The appointment of TNI to be at the forefront and in charge of Security for G20 Summit in Bali is based on the Presidential Decree No. 12/2021 on the National Committee for the G20 Presidency 2022.


Responding to this directive, Panglima TNI emphasized his readiness to optimize the handling and make the G20 Summit in Bali a success. Of the entire Task Force, the TNI dominates with more than 14 thousand personnel. The rest came from the Police and other institutions. All of them are under the command of the Panglima TNI.
